Entitled as Uniting Leaders for Internationalization: Regional Innovation Conference on Education or UnLI RICE, this year’s installment is in light of the two successful editions–RICE and Extra RICE which were conducted in June 2013 and March 2014 respectively.
Co-presented by BU UNESCO Club, Scientia, BUCS Student Council, Symbiosis, Computer Society and the National Association of UNESCO Clubs in the Philippines, Inc (NAUCP), UnLI RICE aims to gather eighty (80) educational leaders, researchers, policy makers, pioneering practitioners, young professionals and industry experts from different provinces in the Bicol Region so as to discuss issues and concerns on ASEAN Integration, Internationalization and the Filipino pride and identity.
With the theme “Rooting for Genuine Nationalism,” the said event will be focusing on strengthening the Filipino identity amidst the changing ASEAN landscape.
Endorsed by the Department of Education (DepEd) Region 5, Commission on Higher Education (CHED) V, National Youth Commission (NYC), this year’s RICE will mold the skills of students and young professionals toward their own development through different plenary sessions.
Likewise, UNLI RICE will provide an avenue to synchronize and synergize UNESCO Club initiatives and celebrate their collective efforts particularly in the Bicol Region.
Interested participants may visit the official UNLI RICE website or the event's official Facebook page.
